An artistic itinerary

The municipality of Saint-Christoly and the Association of the friends of Edgar Pillet were invited to the unveiling of a sculpture created by the sculptor Mpcem, and dedicated to the artist Edgar Pillet (information on Edgar Pillet). A magical moment at the port of Saint-Christoly, a unique view of the sculpture, the town and the Gironde and, of course, the aperitive flowed freely! Incidentally we also learnt that this place could be part of a future artistic route going from the south to the north of the Médoc.

Saint Vivien, with its new art gallery “P’tit Montmartre BEAU BOURG”, could also form part of this. For quite a while, on Sundays, the P’tit Montmartre had appeared on the market place next to the church. It always attracted local people interested in art, both from Saint Vivien itself and also the surrounding villages. But today this artistic walk stretches from around the BEAU BOURG gallery (opposite the church), popular in its own right, and giving local artists the opportunity of exhibiting throughout the year.
